Committee Volunteer Opportunities

Most volunteers begin their involvement by joining a committee. The following PMAR Committees are seeking additional members (limited space may be available).

Realtor® Advocacy Committee (RAC)

You don’t have to be a policy wonk to join. You just have to care about your community and your business. Issues tackled include regional and local growth, proposed regulations affecting your business, taxes and fees, open house signage, and more. Learn more

Masters Circle (MC)

Plan educational membership luncheons, oversee the administration, and continually strive to meets members’ needs. Learn more

PMAR Elected Positions

After volunteering on a committee, many members decide to move to the next level: an elected position. Learn more

Professional Standards and Grievance Committees

Conduct arbitration and ethics hearings as needed, encourage members to conduct their business with the highest professional and ethical standards, give initial consideration to allegations of unethical conduct or requests for arbitration, and determine whether a matter is properly the subject for a hearing. Broker Risk Management Committee (BRMC)

Focus on addressing real estate agency, multiple listing service, brokerage management, and overall risk management practices. Collaborate directly with leaders from related industries by participating in forums and engaging in joint efforts to develop business tools that improve members’ effectiveness in their real estate practices.
