The Professional Standards and Grievance Committees have pledged to educate members on the Realtor® Code of Ethics, to investigate and assess all complaints and to ensure all parties are treated fairly. PMAR has also established Best Practices, which promote ideals of courtesy and professionalism to strive for in the course of business activity. Our Ombudsman program is designed to help buyers, sellers and their Realtors® resolve minor disputes before they escalate.
PMAR assists in resolving home buyer/home seller disputes by overseeing a mediation program. The majority of mediated cases are able to reach a mutually agreeable settlement.
