This course is intended for licensed Oregon property managers, brokers, and principal brokers conducting property management. Once completed, the licensee will have a better understanding of their administrative and fiduciary responsibilities as described in Oregon Revised Statute chapter 696 and Oregon Administrative Rules chapter 863.

Instructor: Liz Hayes, Compliance Division Manager at OREA. She has been with the Agency for nearly eight years, starting in the Licensing and Education Division before moving to the Regulations Division, where she spent over two years as an investigator. In 2021, she was appointed to lead the newly created Compliance Division. Before joining the Agency, Liz held a broker license for 12 years, working with a brokerage specializing in new construction and managing both single- and multifamily properties. In this role, she collaborated with property owners, tenants, and vendors and handled the brokerage’s bookkeeping, including monthly reconciliations. She also holds a BS degree in Business.
