Realtor® Code of Ethics and Fair Housing Requirements

Realtors® are required to complete ethics training of not less than two hours, 30 minutes of instructional time. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. The current cycle is January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027. 

Realtors® are also required to take a fair housing course. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. The current cycle is January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027. If you complete this requirement through NAR, your record will automatically update and you do not need to submit a certificate to PMAR.

Please submit certificates of completion directly to membership@pmar.org or click “submit ethics certificate” or “submit fair housing certificate” below. If you have questions, please call 503-228-6595 and select option 1.

Failure to complete ethics or fair housing training during any cycle will lead to suspension of membership for the January and February immediately following the cycle deadline, with termination of membership starting March 1 after the cycle deadline.
