Women’s Council of REALTORS® Greater Portland Area invites you to their upcoming event:

“Given the market’s historically low inventory levels and correspondingly high mortgage rates, finding a home is an increasingly difficult task – especially one at a price that is attainable to first time home buyers. And many buyers no longer need, or want, a traditional 3-4BR home given changing household demographics. But few housing options have been built over the past several decades other than full-sized homes or mid/high-rise apartment buildings due to restrictive zoning policies. In response to these market dynamics, Oregon at a state level and Portland at a local level have recently implemented new “middle housing” laws and building code to provide more diverse and affordable housing options. This class will touch-on changing buyer demographics, the historical background of missing middle housing, how the state and our largest cities are addressing the problem, and details about options available to Portland buyers.”

“Come enjoy a fun happy hour, networking, and a wonderful class! This class is an appreciation event for members and $15 for non-members. Please know that our events are all sales final. We are not able to issue refunds.”

  • Wednesday, May 15th, 4-6 p.m.
  • 7504 SW Bridgeport Rd
  • FREE for WCR members; FREE for Oregon affinity group members; $15 for non-WCR members
