Ken Humberston is a true Renaissance man. He has held public office as mayor, school board member, city councilor, and board member of several economic development agencies. This, combined with his military, law enforcement, teaching and firefighting background gives Ken the ability to work well with other policy-makers on win-win economic development programs. Case in point, he helped advance the cause of cross laminated timber within the county and is working to establish the state’s first Land Bank Authority to re-purpose dilapidated sites for new businesses. He is also a tireless champion of veterans, and has helped support the Home Builder Foundation’s Veterans Village project.
