OnlineEd is offering an Oregon-specific Implicit Bias class for $12. This course will provide ways to appropriately counteract systemic biases in the real estate industry.
This course uses the mind sciences, history, statistics, and current events to change your understanding of your own implicit biases as they relate to the practice of real estate. In doing so, we hope to create new modes of connection with others as individuals, rather than as reflections of your own instinctive stereotypes. This is not idle self-exploration; the way you connect with yourself and others as a gatekeeper to home buying will shape the demographic fabric of the country.
