She enjoys the family atmosphere of Portland Housing Center and its commitment to serving our clients and seeing them be successful. She takes pride in the best practices and processes that help us improve our work and serve our clients. Homeownership matters to her because it is a way to build assets and achieve housing stability.

Heidi Martin, NMLS #282008, Lending Director

Heidi originally joined the Portland Housing Center team in 2011, she is currently the Lending Director. She has over 20 years of experience in the private sector and began working in the public and non-profit section over 10 years ago. She has been responsible for all aspects of lending over the course of her career. She loves the uniqueness of working for a non-profit lending and being able to truly do what is best for the customer, regardless of income. She also loves the “pay it forward” aspect of our lending, when a client chooses us, they are helping to financially support our services so more can be served. Homeownership matters to Heidi because it is the cornerstone of generational wealth creation.
