You’re invited on a Fair Housing Historic Bus Tour with REPAIR Oregon!

From REPAIR Oregon:
The Fair Housing Council of Oregon offers an enlightening and engaging four-hour bus tour to organizations seeking to learn more about our state’s history and how it relates to the fair housing challenges we face today. The tour visits sites throughout Portland and features personal stories from guest presenters with first-hand experiences to share.

The two-hour post-tour facilitated discussion and lunch hosted by Chicago Title is an opportunity for tour participants to share their reactions, personal stories, and perspectives on the meaning of this history today.

  • Important: dress for the weather; you’ll be getting off the bus twice and will be standing for approximately 25 minutes each time.
  • You may bring a drink/snack on the bus; please pick up after yourself.
  • Video recording is not allowed on the tour.
  • Pictures may be taken and posted, and we welcome tags on social media. @fair_housing_council_oregon
  • Lunch included after the event at Chicago Title.

Funds raised above cost of the bus will be placed in REPAIR’s Anti-Displacement Fund, which is helping Black homeowners in Portland keep their homes. You can learn more at www.repairoregon.org.
