Are you considering running for local or state office in Oregon? Is serving on your local School Board of interest? If YES, then register for this essential training! We will also provide additional training and insight from United for Portland‘s Doug Moore and team.

Learning Outcomes–upon completion of this training session, participants will be able to:
~Assess whether they have the basic traits necessary to run for office.
~Tell people in 30 seconds or fewer why they are running for office.
~Relay the elements necessary for development of a campaign plan.
~Plan their research needs based on their target audience and budget estimates.
~Create an individualized fundraising pitch.
~Develop a clear, concise, and compelling message on why they would best represent voters’ interests and values in elected office.
~Determine the best methods for contacting constituents based on voter demographics and budget.
